Mark Renn
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Renn relocated to the Denver area in 1986 for a Vice President of Sales and Marketing position with Farmers Union Insurance. In October of 1993, he purchased a franchise career-marketing firm. Under his guidance and leadership, the franchise grew 500% between the years 1993 and 2001. In January of 2001, Mr. Renn merged his franchise operations with Cornell Business Associates and ceased operating as a franchisee. The new company was named Global Career Management.

Mr. Renn is past President of the International Association of Career Consulting Firms and currently holds a position on the Board of Directors. He holds the Registered Career Consultant (RCC) designation and the Career Management Professional (CMP) designation from the International Board of Career Management Certification. In addition, he is a member of numerous associations. He is currently serving on the Board of the Better Business Bureau of Denver/Boulder and until the year 1998, held the position of arbitrator. Under Mr. Renn's leadership, Global Career Management has developed a positive relationship with the BBB and has been instrumental in developing a positive impact on the career marketing industry in the Denver area. Mr. Renn recently guided Global Career Management through the application process for membership in the Lincolnshire International business group.

Mr. Renn has been the keynote speaker at a number of engagements and often speaks for associations, educational organizations, as well as job fairs and other events throughout the United States. In addition, he has been a guest on several radio shows and he has written articles for the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News. His name is entered in the 1993/94 Who's Who Registry of Global Business Leaders for demonstration of outstanding leadership and achievement in his occupation.

Mr. Renn holds a degree in psychology and business through the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.


Kaye Jones
Executive Vice President, RCC, CMP

Kaye Jones has extensive experience in business that encompasses management, career marketing, executive recruiting, marketing/sales, bartering, legal, and finance. She has been part of the management team for two successful start-up companies and has owned an advertising agency and a bartering corporation.

Kaye has 20 years experience in career management and corporate outplacement and her experience includes all levels of job seekers. Kaye specializes in providing career management consulting services to "C Level" clients with annual incomes ranging from $250,000 to $2.7 million. She currently manages Global Career Management's Career Consultants and Client Support Service Associates.

Kaye is the 1999 and the 2004 recipient of the IACCF Jim Johnson Award - 'The Highest Award That Is Presented Nationally For Achievement As A Primary Consultant'. She holds memberships in the International Association of Career Consulting Firms, The Association for Corporate Growth, and the Fortune Business Leader Council. Additionally she has served on Marketing Committee of the Colorado Human Resources Association; the Board of Directors of the YMCA, Rochester, MN; Advisory Board, Legal Assistants Education, and Rochester Junior College, Rochester, MN.

Kaye is a Registered Career Consultant and Certified Career Management Practitioner.


Louis Spadoni
Executive Vice President

Mr. Louis Spadoni's background is in the health and personal-growth industries. For 20 years he served as Executive Vice President and National Director for a medically supervised weight-loss organization. He was responsible for building and managing all U.S. and Canadian operations.

Mr. Louis Spadoni's experience also includes executive positions with the Coca Cola Company, GNC and the Thomas H. Lee Company. Over a 25-year career, he has also developed a reputation as an expert on personal image, self-esteem, and peak performance-topics on which he has lectured with celebrities such as Dr. Joyce Brothers. He has also appeared on television and radio talk shows such as 'The Good Morning Show' and 'Evening Magazine' and has co-written two books on personal growth and peak performance.

Mr. Louis Spadoni holds a degree in communications. He is a former Dale Carnegie trainer and is a licensed IACCF career counselor.


Packard Brown
Career Consultant

Packard Brown serves a Vice President, Senior Career Consultant, for Global Career Management's Denver office. Packard provides expertise and counsel to a wide range of clients from virtually every industry, moving clients forward to maximize their potential and achieve their career objectives. Throughout his career as a professional, Packard Brown has managed dual careers: one in the corporate education world, and the other in executive career management, consulting, and coaching. Equipped with a Masters from Iliff and additional graduate studies at Princeton University, his academic background blends well with his work in corporate settings and as a career coach. For more than 20 years, Packard has provided professional services as a Career Transition Consultant and Executive Coach

Packard has provide career consulting services to executives from such Fortune 500 companies as Hewlett Packard, Schlumberger, Sprint, Kellogg's, Raytheon and HealthOne. Packard received his certification as an Executive Coach through Nightingale / Conant, is a Registered Career Consultant and is a member in good standing with the International Association for Career Consulting Firms (IACCF). He has written on career transition subjects for the Colorado Bar Association and has presented before both the Colorado Human Resource Association and the Denver Center for Spirituality and Work on Preventing Career Derailment.

His service in the private sector was mainly as Vice President for Organization Development (OD) where he is well known for his proficiency in aligning a company's culture and leadership talent with its central business strategy. Packard has authored numerous articles and is a frequent featured speaker on his experience in instituting breakthrough leadership development programs. On occasion, Packard lectures on executive leadership and career management topics at Denver University's Daniels College of Business where he is also an advisor to DU's undergraduate leadership program.

Packard lives in Centennial, Colorado with his wife of 23 years. Together they have two dogs, two children, (one attends DU) and enjoy golf, politics, music, creative writing and travel.


Jo Mayl
Vice President

Jo Mayl has over 20 years business and leadership experience that includes customer services, project management, operations, marketing, legal, finance, training/coaching, staff development and counseling. She has managed budgets of over $10M and has worked with employees and large groups throughout her career.

Jo is an outstanding trainer, coach, mentor, in the development of clients and employees to produce successful results. Jo is creative and offers expertise in taking concepts from inception to implementation, organizing, planning, development of processes and procedures, communication and establishing interpersonal relationships by working with individuals at all levels to transition them to the next level of their careers.

Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. She attended the University of Dayton studying Elementary Education.



Carole Crane

Senior Vice President


Carole J. Crane, Vice President, Senior Career Consultant of Global Career Management, Fort Collins office providing professional career management consulting to clients from virtually every industry and every position. Ms. Crane has over 20 years experience providing individual career consulting, corporate outplacement, executive coaching and retirement counseling. She has worked with corporations to increase the effectiveness and productivity of executives. Her diverse background is in career management, executive coaching/mentoring, retirement counseling, marketing and general management.

Ms. Crane served on the Board of the College of Lake County Foundation; Lake County Business, Industry, Education Consortium; Women in Management; and Business and Professional Women. Currently she serves on the Board of the Northern Colorado Human Resources Association, an SHRM chapter. She also was on the Board of the Lake Forest Career Resource Center, President of Northern Illinois Society of Human Resource Management where she started up an Executive Network for senior human resources professionals, and Chair of Human Resource Management Association of Chicago North/Northwest Interest Group. She holds a BA in Sociology, an MBA in Marketing, and an MA in Counseling from the University of Chicago.

Ms. Crane has taught career management courses at the College of Lake County. She has been a guest speaker at numerous professional conferences, presenting on job search techniques, career issues, and the job market. In addition, she co-authored an article on interviewing, and authored an article of telecommunicating. As well Ms. Crane has been quoted in Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and on WBBM Chicago.

Ms. Crane was formerly a Vice President of The Mentor Group Inc./Lincolnshire International (Buffalo Grove, IL), a Human Resources consulting firm. Corporate clients include Allstate, Abbott, Comdisco, Hewitt Associates, Kraft, Caremark, Rand McNally, ITW, Dade Behring, Weber Stephen Products, Evangelical Church in America, ADP, Alltec, Lend Lease, Ernst & Young, and Avery Dennison, to list just a few.

Previously Ms. Crane held positions at AT&T and RCA, marketing data and telecommunications systems, at Lutheran General Hospital as Counseling Manager, and with a corporation in Mexico as General Manager during which time she had P/L responsibility and 750 people directly and indirectly reporting to her. In addition, she has consulted to and assisted in the start-up of the Career Center at First National Bank of Chicago (now JPMorgan Chase).


Scott Woodard
Vice President

Scott Woodard is Vice President, Senior Career Consultant, at Global Career Management's Westminster Office. Scott provides exceptional professional career management services, consistently moving clients forward to maximize their potential and achieve excellence throughout their careers. Scott is an innovative professional with extensive experience working with leaders in private, public and non-profit organizations to act on challenging critical issues.

Scott is a strategic thinker who takes great pride in his ability to take people to the next level of their development. He has been a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and their organizations, identifying significant issues, developing key resources and streamlining decision-making. Additionally, he has made strong contributions to organizations as a consultant and as a leader on management teams. Scott has proven success in re-defining clients' strategic directions. He is an experienced negotiator and facilitator in implementing these new directions on his clients' behalf. Scott frames critical issues in ways that are actionable by clients.

Scott has directed a number of innovative initiatives to address critical challenges facing clients: He led strategic planning efforts of a leadership organization of local elected officials resulting in an integrated approach to policy- and decision-making. He also led an evaluation of strategic issues for a major metropolitan community foundation that provided the framework for regional discussion and action at an annual community symposium.

Scott has developed innovative programs that define the strategic direction of organizations to better meet the needs of their clients: He was a leader in the effort to create a unique, first of its kind, agreement among local governments in the Denver region that elevated local decision-making. He has also developed new business units for companies to better address the needs of their clients.

Scott has designed and facilitated strategic approaches that clarify clients' agendas and directions: He developed and facilitated leadership retreats to prioritize and act on critical issues. He developed and implemented a strategic planning process for a local community college that enhanced the decision-making capacity of the college's faculty and staff. He developed strategies for the Governor of Colorado that resulted in the reorganization of many of the state's economic development initiatives.

Scott holds a Master's degree in Public Administration. He was the recipient of a German Marshall Fund Fellowship in recognition of his problem solving leadership.
